We are a dedicated group of airline pilots, course developers, professional illustrators and editors drawn together from around the world, to create the best, professional online aviation education courses for New Zealand and Australian pilots. We started back in 2010 with our New Zealand based company Escape Velocity Ltd, and launched ATPLOnline.co.nz. Our vision was to create world class online aviation courses that all pilots, regardless of geographic location, could access 24/7, 365 days a year.
Over the past few years, Escape Velocity has become the largest provider of ATPL theory courses to the New Zealand aviation market. Our students study with us from all around the globe, accessing our content from over 21 countries.
Our ATPL aviation courses are now licenced to various Flight Training organisations who deliver them to their own students in house.
In 2016, we launched our new Australian company Rocket Works PTY. LTD, and with it, our dedicated Australian ATPL courses. On 1 July, 2017, Rocket Works PTY. LTD commenced management of ATPLOnline.co.nz.
During September, 2020 ATPLOnline began delivering PPL, CPL and IR online aviation courses.
